This is part three of our five-parter on our conversations with Glenn’s younger brother Alan. A few years ago I was interviewing a well known artist and he said something to me that has always stayed with me. I’m not going to share his name but he said, “I know it’s part of the job to get criticism but some writers will say anything, even make up crazy lies about me, to get a headline.” Sure, some artist make it a bit easier sometimes to fuel that fire but it is easy to forget that these musicians are human, they have wive’s and kids and mothers who read and watch this stuff.

Glenn Frey has had his fair share of negative press. I asked his younger brother Alan how it effects him and his family? (clip 004)

That’s Alan Frey, Glenn Frey’s younger brother. He knew his brother as a well know singer but how did he feel about Glenn Frey – the actor. He was in Jerry Maguire and with Don Johnson in Nash Bridges and Miami Vice. (Clip 006)

Frey died on January 18, 2016. He was 67.

We will have more of our exclusive interview with Alan Frey, younger brother to Glenn Frey of the Eagles.
