It’s always a pleasure to talk to anyone who has worked with Elton John. Caleb Quaye is especially always a treat since he was there at the very beginning. Caleb was on “Empty Sky” (1969), Elton John” (1970), “Tumbleweed Connection” (1970), “Friends” soundtrack (1971), and “Madman Across the Water” (1971). He also came back for two of my favorite Elton albums, “Rock of the Westies” (1975) and “Blue Moves” (1976). In this clip, Caleb indeed talks about the early days and that amazing chemistry the band had. Remember than Caleb has a new documentary called “Louder than Rock” get details here.
