Daryl Hall Gets Rude Awakening On Hall & Oates Internet Search One would think that the fruits of your labours would be evident on the internet? Well, maybe not if you are Daryl Hall – lead voice of Hall and Oates. When Jim Harrington was interviewing the singer the reporter happened to mention that a quick Google search had the first related question as “which one is Oates?” To which he answered, Well, that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. (Laughs.) Their last studio album was the seasonal collection “Home for Christmas” in 2006. Before that was “Our Kind of Soul,” a mostly covers album from 2004. The last real original Hall and Oates album was 2003’s “Do It for Love.” The pair have sold over 40-million records. They are the third best-selling music duo of all time. They have had over 25 hits in the Billboard Top 40 Charts in The U.S. including six number 1’s. Read the interview with Jim Harrington here http://www.mercurynews.com/2017/09/12…
