INTERVIEW CLIP #6- The Band Teaze Had Their Share of Bad Luck
July 27, 2019 – I remember in the 80’s doing lots of interviews with Canadian bands when I was syndicating my radio show “The Cross Canada Report.” I started hearing musicians saying, “You can go gold in Canada and ride the bus.” It was a tough business and the band Teaze had their fair share of bad luck.

When I first heard that Teaze were getting back together I was excited. I have four of their albums, saw them in concert and really loved their show. I told the band that I’m seeing a real hunger for bands of the 60s, 70s, and 80s cause the clock is ticking on these great bands.
The band Teaze have a show coming up with Honeymoon Suite and Matt Minglewood called “A Night of Classic Rock” Sunday, August 25th in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. John Beaudin has been in major market radio (Edmonton, Vancouver & Calgary) for 35 years and a music journalist since 1989. He graduated from Broadcasting school as a newsman so he would have the skills to write about the artists that inspired him since he bought his first album, “Madman Across The Water” by Elton John as a teen. In the ’80s Beaudin was the host of the syndicated radio show “The Cross Canada Report” which had two versions (Rock and A/C). Beaudin was also asked to be a judge at the Juno Awards (Canada’s answer to the Grammys) Twice. He has anchored every position in radio including morning and afternoon drive and was a Program and Music Director for The Breeze and California 103 in Calgary. He currently hosts the popular Lovesongs at QM-FM in Vancouver and on iHeartRadio.
